Highlights from the weekend of 10/22-10/23
October has been an awesome month in the fishing world! Check out some highlights from this past weekend.
The St. John crew came all the way from Missouri and fished with Capt. Willy B & Chaz on Sunday. The infamous "tuna slayers" made their trip worth while when they reeled in 5 monster yellowfin tuna, all weighing in over 100 pounds!
The two man Mitchell crew traveled all the way from Hawaii to fish with Super Strike Charters! They fished offshore with Capt. Ashton on Sunday and reeled in an impressive 100 pound yellowfin and got to experience a catch and release of a beautiful Blue Marlin.
The Guitard crew traveled from the sunshine state and spent two days offshore fishing with Capt. Scott King. They reeled in some impressive yellowfin tuna and had quite the fight with a 300 pound blue marlin. This monstrous fish got tail wrapped, dove 600 feet, came back up colorless and lifeless and was brought back to the dock - no worries, it did not go to waste!
